Christmas Angels

Posted on 2008.12.24 at 00:29
Yes, this post is about real angels. Really!

Nikki and I receive occasional channelings from the angelic realms, and a year or two back we heard about a phenomena called the Christmas angels. Apparently, there's a division of angels out there that specifically dedicate themselves to spreading feelings of peace and joy around Dec. 25th. I didn't doubt it, but I never really thought much of it - Angels tend to bring love and cheer to people on all kinds of occasions, special or not.

Until now, I had never actually seen one, but all that changed... Today as the sun was setting and I was driving home, I saw one hovering over the natural park behind my house, high over the hill. It was a large and brilliant shimmering white figure. Very pretty. White light is a very high energy!

An hour or two later after the sun had completely set and I was finishing up another errand, I became overwhelmed with a sense of peace and calm. It was the quintessential "Peace on Earth" feeling that Christmas songs refer to. It was very nice. I felt like everything was going to be OK. And I noticed that other people in the mall I was at very suddenly seemed to be in a brighter mood, whereas a few hours ago everyone seemed stressed out, hurrying about and being a humbug.

So, hark unto ye, the Christmas angels are here! All you gotta do is open your heart to them to receive the same feeling of peace and joy. And while you're at it, send a prayer or two to someone you love, and spread the love around.

So without any further ado, I'd like to wish you all a merry belated Yule and a merry Christmas. However you celebrate, I hope your holidays are going great. :)

Postponement and Self Reflections

So I got sick with the flu a few days before I was scheduled to go down to Texas. Full body chills, sore throat, deep cough, mucus in the lungs. Glad I bought that cancellation insurance.

Though being sick DOES lend itself to spiritual revelations sometimes... )

I just hope I can kick this sickness so I can get the energy to finish what's left of the semester.

It's been a while since I've updated my journal, but I felt the urge to write. Things are really starting to move in my life, so much so that I'm a little overwhelmed. I barely have time to even write this, but I felt I had to.

I'm going on a trip to Texas soon. Last year I went down there to visit my brother and his wife, and on the way I took aerial photographs from the plane. I turned the photos into an art project after heavily editing them in Photoshop.

And here's what they look like... )

These look great when printed. However, my camera was a crappy Nikon Coolpix (with only 2 megapixels), so the highest printing size for these would only be 4"x6" at 300 DPI, or 6"x8" at 200 DPI ... Not so good. This time I'm renting a high quality camera to get the job done right. I'll also be taking a larger quantity of images so I'll have more to work with. The weather reports across the U.S. seem perfect for this weekend, so I'm crossing my fingers... ^^

Another important reason why I'm going down there is to meet my new niece, Alana. She's less than a year old and she's a crystal child. Her current living situation with my brother and his wife seems less than ideal at present; they are very stressed out and lacking material stability. She's going to need all the support she can get. I'm going to bring as much light as I can to her and the situation at large. There is a great karmic connection between me and this child, and I intend to make good on my promises of being there for her so long as she and I are both living. But the nature of the karmic tie is a long story, one that will have to wait for another day...

I wanted to take Nikki along with me but things just didn't pan out. Her passport needs renewal and there isn't time for us to get that done AND take this trip before the end of semester. But on the bright side, I have a feeling there will be other trips in the near future, as the universe is a very providing organism and was generous enough to grant me the funds for this trip in the form of a scholarship. I daresay that won't be the last of the abundance we inherit in our lives.

I'll make it up to you by taking you to the mountains, dear. I love you <3

A little conCERNed...

Posted on 2008.08.07 at 01:40
So, today I was going to make a long post talking about the Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator at the Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) in France. And my post was going to be cautionary, highlighting the immense dangers that the device imposes on our Earth, and how horrible accidents and misfortune have delayed the project's completion multiple times.

But I think I'm going to let people decide for themselves. My intuition tells me that life is going to keep on going after this experiment.

On the plus side, the main page has a nifty virtual tour. For once, a massive scientific turning point in our planet's history is out in the open, rather than being ultra-classified.

Water on Mars!

Posted on 2008.08.01 at 22:49

NASA has finally announced what any perceptive individual who has taken a look at Martian landforms already knew: The red planet had (and still has) water on its surface. This kind of news should be on the front page of the papers, but of course, important issues to our planet are never discussed in the mainstream media anymore...

Here's the article. Enjoy!

And the Earth trembles...

Posted on 2008.07.30 at 06:01
So, there was a 5.4 earthquake in Los Angeles yesterday. Here's an official article about it:

http://www.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUSN29374340

What made this story interesting was a man named Jim Berkland predicted that the quake would happen, right on the dot. He was a guest on Coast to Coast AM tonight and discussed his method, which he calls the Seismic Window Theory. According to him, the earth is more susceptible to earthquakes during periods of high gravitational stress via the moon and the sun. Most of the major earthquakes in history have happened around the full or new moon, during perigee (when the Earth and moon are closest together), during eclipses, and during perihelion (when the Earth and sun are closest together) in early January.

The 2004 tsunami fit the bill, as it happened in late december during a full moon. Berkland predicted that one as well. He also predicted the 1989 San Fransisco earthquake during the World Series. He cast his prediction to the California media on October 13th of that year, before the games started, and the quake happened four days later on the 17th. After that, supposedly the government told him to shut up and never go to the mainstream media again with his predictions, as it might cause "mass panic". Which is probably why society at large is not benefiting from his work today, but I digress.

He claims an 80% success rate. But while his method can accurately predict when quakes will happen, he can't always predict where. Sometimes he is able to watch trends along specific fault lines and make regional predictions (like he did with yesterday's). But he says that there is a better method for the layman: listening to the animals. Yes, according to him, animals will act strangely before an earthquake is about to happen. Hearing him speak about this reminded me of the amazing articles I read about animals that ran to high ground and exhibited unusual behaviour shortly before the 2004 tsunami. So, if you live in an earthquake-prone area, you may wish to keep a pet as an early warning system. Get to know your pet, and watch for things that are out of the ordinary from its usual routine or personality.

He was asked when we should expect the next big quake. He said that the eclipse happening on August 1st will be a dangerous time, as it coincides with the seismic window we are currently in. Supposedly Peruvians have already integrated the knowledge of the moon/earthquake relationship into their cultural base, as they prepare for an earthquake when an eclipse is about to happen!

Another interesting thing he mentioned - Solar flares also seem to increase the frequency of earthquakes on the planet. Keep that in mind, as I'm going to be posting some things about solar activity later. It seems as though all things are connected. ;)

If you wanna do more research, here's Jim's webpage:

And here's an article that talks about the moon/Earth relationship in regards to earthquakes.

Rebirth

Posted on 2008.07.25 at 03:38
This blog has been quiet for a while now, even after it was graciously resurrected and redecorated for me by my love, Nicole (thanks dear!). But it's time to begin again. I have received the call and can no longer remain silent.

Now more than ever I have a burning desire to help and inform others about the critical matters that affect us all. Most notably I'm talking about the earth changes that we are all experiencing. This phenomena extends far beyond the physical manifestations (climate change, earthquakes, volcanic activity, etc). It is also a spiritual awakening, a multi-faceted surge of energy that is bringing in a new reality and stripping away the old. Many of these changes are good, some are bad, others are simply confusing. Some people feel them and get frightened. Some people distract themselves and turn a blind eye so that they don't have to think about it. But increasingly, more people want to get informed, inform others, and transform themselves into the enlightened beings they know they really are. Like me.

This process is a two way street, of course. I welcome your comments and contributions. If I get alot of traffic I may open a forum specifically for discussing these matters, but I'm sure there are many fine blogs around that fit the description already.

While I may post personal things from time to time, you can check my profile to learn more about me.

Welcome to my neck of the woods, and thank you. :)
